REST IN PEACE

Well Posh is back from the CityStreetz with feelings that are bittersweet. I enjoyed my birthday as well as christmas whcihc means my New Year should be great. Unfortunately we have lost some people during the holiday this year, which makes me feel grateful for being able to see another year.

We lost James Brown on christmas day which was devastating. James Brown was the king of soul, funk, rhythm and everything else. We last lost Dj Carl Blaze who was robbed and shot for his gold chain. Dj Carl Blaze was a popular Dj on the Power 105 radio station and will truly be missed.

All I can say is thatits important to live each day like the last because you never know when you are going to go... There's only one life to live so make the most of it!!!! On that note, RIP to JB and CB.

HAVE A MERRY POSH CHRISTMAS FROM THE CITYSTREETZ

So Im sitting here today at work sipping on a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks. (*Awesome*) If you dont know about it, now you know!! Even you non-coffee drinkers will love it. It almost tastes like eatting a slice of sweet potato pie on thanksgiving. Go get a cup, holla back and make sure you tell'em PoshGemz sent you.

Anyway, tommorrow is my birthday so the whole weekend is mine!!! Which is why Im posting my farewells today. I'll be out on the CityStreetz doing it up big and not giving a F*ck! GETTIN COCKY 'BOUT THE ROCKY


Lloyd Banks performed out in Canada about a week ago and almost had his rocks snatched. After experiencing technical difficulties on stage, Banks decided to give hand-shakes to his fans while techs worked on the problem. As LLoyd worked through the crowd one female fan grabbed a hold of his hand and attempted to snatch a ring off of his finger! Talk about being star-strucked!!! I never like Lloyd Banks he always struck me as being a cocky asshole for no reason. Yes, he has a smooth voice but he looks like a chimpanzee. Anyway, heres the video. Check it...

NUGGETS NAB IVERSON

I would have blessed you guys with the info yesterday but I had to take a lil time off to relax. Well Im back to bring you the lastest on the CityStreetz.

Anyway, Allen Iverson was traded to the Nuggets late Tuesday night. I think this trade was perfect for the Nuggets being that Carmelo Anthony will be sitting out for 15 games after going upside
the head of Mardy Collins. Iverson, who has been out for six games with 60 million dollars left on his contract had this to say " Im very happen about the trade. Denver's style of play fits my strengths. Im looking forward to playing with Carmello (Anthony), the rest of the Denver Nuggets, and for George Carl, who is a proven winner."

Well, with this kind of feedback Im more than anxious to see how the Nuggets handle the court from here on. Just to spark a little excitement, Ive thrown in a video clips of A.I. handling his B.I.

ARSENIO HALL SHOW....

I use to love the Arsenio Hall show back in the days. It came on at 11pm and I use to sneak to stay up and watch it. Its a terrible shame that the show had to go and if my memory serves me correctly it was cancelled. Well, I never got a chance to see the last show untill today. I must say that Arsenio went out like a trooper. You cant front, that show had shit on lock which is why they had to take it down. The hiphop culture was gettin too much love and the black man was gettin too much ratings. (Hope I didnt offend anyone but thats real talk!)Anyway, I thought it would be nice to share this with everyone.

SHOPPING FOR JUSTICE

Thousands of protesters clogged the Citystreetz on 5th ave yesterday for a slient March against police brutality. Rev. Al Sharpton headed off the protest down 5th ave while everyone counted from one to fifty which represents the amount of shots that went into Sean bell's car. (A picture of Sean's wife to be Nicole Pultre and her mother to the left.) *Correction*In an early post I stated that Sean and Nicole were married but they were actually soon to be married the day that Sean was killed.

"The reason we're doing this is because its one of the only mechanisms left to us," said entertainer Harry Belafonte, who particpated in the march.

I say that there is no way those cops can get away with killing this man!! It may sound ignorant but if i dont see some justice in this case, I will personally go out and tear up some shit!!

EVERYBODY LOVED PETER BOYLE

We know him as Raymond's father on "Everybody loves Raymond." Actor Peter Boyle passed away Tuesday at the age of 71 due to complications of the heart. Boyle died at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Aside from the main character Raymond, Mr.boyle who played Raymonds obnoxious father, was the most popular character on the show.

In my book he was like the modern day " Archy Bunker." I will definitely miss "Raymonds pops" aka Mr. Peter doyle. R.I.P.!!!!

Recently, Nas took time out of his busy schedule to sit down with Mrs. Jones ( I cant stand her) and her crew up and Hot 97. As you already know, there has been a lot of heat generating from rappers behind the title of Nas's new album "Hiphop is dead". SCARY SITUATION

Word on the Citystreetz is that Melanie Brown also known as former Spice girl "Scary Spice" is claiming that Eddie Murphy (both shown on the right) is the father of her unborn child. The “Wannabe” singer is reportedly four-months pregnant!! Murphy dumped her and then demanded a paternity test. Reports suggest that Mel has now hired an attorney.
In the meantime, Eddie has been dating Tracy Edmonds, the ex-wife of singer Kenneth 'Babyface' Edmonds.

In April, Murphy's divorce from his ex-wife Nicole became final. Murphy has five children with Nicole, a son with Tamara Hood and another son with Paulette McNeely. Brown has a seven-year-old daughter, Phoenix Chi, from her previous marriage to Jimmy Gulzar.

My question is, what the hell is wrong with these men nowadays? Im not gonna say that relationships dont go wrong but havin all these kids by different women aint a good look.

KANYE VS KNIEVEL

Now you guys must be thinking what in the hell does Kanye West and Evel Knievel have in common. Well, it seems that Mr. Knievel is a bit pieved at Kanye's video "Touch the sky." Mr.Knievel claims that Kanye is impersonating him and ruining his reputation. (Umm yeah, aint nobody talkin about Evil Knievel)Mr. Knievel also went as far as to say that Kanye's video is "vulgar and offensive" and filed a lawsuit against Kanye at a Florida federal courthouse. A spokesperson for Kanye saids that he has no comment.
