5o Bets Millions Not Cents on Mayweather/De La Hoya Fight

Word on the City Streetz is that rapper 50 Cent placed a one million dollar bet on the Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Oscar De la Hoya fight. Who did he bank on you ask? Mayweather all the way!! If you're not into boxing I suggest you tune in for this fight anyway.

Since Mayweathers pro debut on October 11, 1996 he has been undefeatable with a record of 37-0 with 24 ko's. (And did I forget to mention that he is fine as hell. ..Lord!) Roger Mayweather which is Floyd's uncle is also his trainer. Since, July 18, 2oo5 he has been rated by Te Ring Magazine as the number-one pound for pound boxer in the world.

Oscar De La Hoya is a Mexican American Boxer who won a gold medal for the United States Boxing Team at the Barcelona Olypic Games. Oscar De La Hoya became Ring Magazine's "Fighter of the Year" in 1995 and Ring Magazine's best "Pound for Pound" fighter in the world in 1997. De La Hoya's record was 223-5 with 163 ko's. He is also the only fighter in the history of boxing to win world titles in six weight classes. Guess who his trainer is...... Floyd Mayweather Sr. Yep!!! The father of his opponent Floyd Mayweather Jr.

In the past Mayweather Sr stated that Oscar is like a son to him and he would have no part a fight between him and his son Mayweather Jr. Im guessin that was his way of tryin to convince both boxers not to accept a challenge against one another but at the end of the day "Money talks and...." you know the rest just ask 50.

Anyway, the fight is on Saturday May 5, 2007 on Hbo's Pay Per View. Although I have NEVER in life ordered pay per view I will be ordering it May 5, 2007. Posh is having a fight party yall.
