Now if you guys know Posh then you know that I hate Kanye's antics. In the past I have reported almost all of his tirades here on the City Streetz. Funny thing is that NO ONE can tell me anything negative about this mans music. I think he is one of the greatest producers around at the moment. Now if you were to ask me about his rapping ability or his personality I'd tell you that its not that great. Anyway, I thought it would only be fair to report all news regarding Kanye opposed to all the negativity. So......

Kanye's mom is dropping a book called "Raising Kanye." Interesting!! I would love to hear all about how Kanye was raised because I have a lot of questions. Where did he get his music influence? Where did he get that big head? Was it the way he was raised or was it his success that turned him into an obnoxious jackass? Ok I tried!! Well anyway, I wish Kanye's mom the best with her book.

Ciara Startin Beef With Bow Wow?

Word on the City Streetz is that Bow Wow introduced Ciara's new video "Like A Boy" up at 106 & Park. Right after introducing the video Bow Wow threw in " She dress just like me in that video" and " She has tats like me and her jeans are like mines...I dunno CiCi....What are you saying CiCi?"

You know, now that he mentions it I do see her resemblance to Bow Wow in the video. Maybe she is trying to send him a message. I recall watching an interview on T.v. (can remember with who at the point) where Ciara saids that she doesn't like drama and how she doesn't want to be in the spot like of negativity. Hmmph! Well I think she should explain what she was trying to get at in this new video.

Celebrating Biggie Life!

Today marks the ten year anniversary of the day that rapper Biggie Smalls aka Notorious B.I.G (Business Instead of Game) was gunned down on the streets of Los Angeles. But today, we are not going to celebrate his death but his life and accomplishments.
Biggie was nasty at the game and he didnt even reach his prime. Its so sad to see how such ignorance in our own communities can rip such wonderful people away from the world. Biggie made his mark in the hiphop world in such a short amount of time that you could only imagine where the game would be now if we still had Biggie. (*Tearz*) R.I.P BIG

If you're up on whats going down in the entertainment world you have probably heard rumors that Busta & Deelishis are a pair. Well word on the City Streetz is that Busta has declared that not only are him and Deelishis NOT a pair but he is currently engaged to a woman by the name of Keisha Jack. Yes, Busta & Deelishis have been working on music project together but that where the relationship ends.

What is my opinion? I think Deelishis is no different from Hoopz or any other girl that was on Flavor of Love. She wasn't there for Flav she was there for the ride. The only difference between Deelishis and the others is that she didn't act out of character and she did a great job at acting. No she didn't stress her singing abilities but that is something that will come to light once you win. So I'll say she was smart at how she played her cards. Nevertheless, Deelishis was there for Deelishis! So Busta, I say lay down your tracks with her and K.I.M cause she look for the next step up the ladder.

Kimora Lee & Djimon Hounsou Official

I was surprised to hear this one but word on the City Streetz is that Kimora Lee and Dijmon Hounsou are officially seeing each other. For those of you who dont recognize the name Djimon Hounsou, he is an actor. He played in the Beauty Shop alongside Queen Latifah and his latest movie is Blood Diamond alongside Leonardo De Caprio. "Give me back my soooon!" Remember now?

This is what Russell Simmons said to People Magazine about Kimora's new relationship.
"He's a wonderful guy, a very sweet guy. I want her to be happy no matter what. I don't know what they're doing, but he's a nice guy. She'd better be happy. Word on the City Streetz is that rapper 50 Cent placed a one million dollar bet on the Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Oscar De la Hoya fight. Who did he bank on you ask? Mayweather all the way!! If you're not into boxing I suggest you tune in for this fight anyway.

Video Day..

OK , so I haven't established an official Video day but the thought has crossed my mind. I'm actually quite busy today so I decided to hit yall with some of my favorite videos. Today is Tuesday but it feels like a blue Monday.Yes I have the Monday blues on a Tuesday. Bah! It is freezin ass out here on the City Streetz so this is the perfect day to stay inside fall back and watch the tube.

Police out in Texas ran across this video of a seventeen year old and his friend givin his two and five years nephews weed to smoke when they arrested them on burglary charges. This is some really sad shit. At one point you even hear the two year old boy cough after taking a pull on the weed.


Wasnt that some shit? Pardon my french but thats just crazy. My question is where were the parents in all this? and how does a two years old know to inhale on a blunt? I guess they taught him. Sad shit.... Parents get ya mind right!
What am I saying? I'am the one sittin her talkin about what a blue day it is and I telling someone to get their minds right. Well, yall know what I meant by that but I I am feeling blue. Im not sad about anything, its just one of those days. I have this habit of associating my feelings with music. (Yep yall know Im a music head like that)Like nowadays whenever I feel blue Icebox plays in my head. The video has this cold blue vibe too it which fits the song perfectly. Yep, Im the type to marinate in my own misery so Im gonna watch Icebox. Oh, and misery loves company.

For those of you who dont know 12 Pack WAS a contestant on the show I love New York. Listen, I dont care what type of money is being offered what straight man gives a gay guy a lap dance? Yep! Word on the City Streetz is that Britney Spears attempted suicide over the weekend by tryin to hang herself with a blanket at Promises Rehab Center. Sources say that she also stated thatshe is the Anti-Christ and scribed "666' on her bald. It has also been stated that Her ex hubby Kevin Federline is helping her and tryin to work things out.


Daaaamn son! All I can say is that Miss Spears has tripped and slipped away from reality. This is a prime example of "Money cant buy you happiness." I wish her well.

Foxy Brown Pleads Guilty

Earlier on this week the City Streetz reported that Foxy Brown was arrested in Florida for assaulting a sales associate at Beauty Supply store. After being arrested she issued this statement: "For the last week, I have been vilified in the media as assaulting a store owner…the only crime I am guilty of committing is being a young black female celebrity in Broward County." Well, it turns out that Miss Foxy wasn't even supposed to leave New York state with out the permission of her Probation Officer. Foxy stood before Manhattan Criminal Court judge Melissa Jackson and plead guilty to violating the terms of her probation. She was sentenced to three years probation and anger management classes for a prior charge. (Girl cant stay her ass out of jail.) Judge Jackson warned Miss Brown that another violation would mean a year in jail.

My thing is this; Where do you get off traveling to another state on probation without telling your P.O officer and then have the audacity to wanna fight a sales guy in a Beauty Supply store?

The Color Of Destiny Is Purple


Well, I'm not even sure if destiny has a color, but purple would be pretty wouldn't it? Anyway, word on the City Streetz is Michelle Williams from Destiny's Child has been hired to play Shug Avery in the Broadway hit "The Color Purple." Michelle is due to hit the stage in Chicago around mid- March and is excited about her new role. " This is just a dream come true. I could not pass up the opportunity to do The Color Purple. To have the privilege of even auditioning was an honor for me".



As you all know Michelle is religious and sings gospel. Now, not sure if you guys ever caught on to this but Shug Avery is a Bi-sexual woman. Do you all remember when Shug and Whoopi (Celie) started joking around in Celie's room and then they began kissing each other? Well they continue to kiss as the camera moves away and then fades into the next scene. (Scene shown to your left) Next time you watch the movie read between those lines. Of course this wasnt something they put a lot of stress on, but Shug and Celie did get it on! Now with that being said I wonder if this scene is in the Broadway hit. I doubt it, but if so I wonder how Michelle would take to having to do a scene like this.



Either way I think Michelle Williams has been blessed with this opportunity and she better rock it!!

Miss Jones Vs New York


Recently I had the privilege of listening in on the the Hot 97 interview with Ny and Miss Jones and I must say that Ny disappointed me. Now Miss Jones is the most pitiful ass person on radio in my opinion. Miss Jones hit the airwaves on rapper Az's single "Sugar Hill." Now we all know that Sugar Hill was one of the hottest summer tracks back in the nineties, which helped Miss Jones get recognition. After this track rotated itself into the ground we were all waiting for Miss Jones to drop a hot album. Well the album dropped and let me tell you; I cant even remember the name of the album or the single that dropped. She even had a video for the single and I still don't recall the name of it. My point is that her shit flopped and then she disappeared for YEARS until she resurfaced as a radio personality on Hot 97. At first her personality was cool, but then she started showing her true colors. Miss Jones is a washed up R&B singer (and she doesn't even deserve that title) who is bitter about the fact that her singing career went to hell. She could have been right up there with Mary J Blige because they both launched their careers in the same era, but instead her job is to interview successful R&B singers like Mary and she is NOT happy about it! Miss Jones, it must suck to be YOU! Lmao. Anyway, I think I made it clear at how much a despise Miss Jones.

Now about the interview...
Ny disappointed me very much. As spunky as Ny may be on Tv she let Miss "washed up" Jones play her on the radio. Miss Jones made Ny look like a straight liar while millions of people listening. Ny I know the show is over and you have your knight and shining armor but you gotta step ya game up boo. You're losing ya swagger!

James Brown Finally Resting In Peace

After all this time James Browns is finally being put to rest. Remember? His family has been disputing over his riches since he pasted away last year on Christmas Day. Brown wanted to be buried at his estate on Beech Island which is where his body was being kept until family members could compromise on his . Mysteriously, his body disappeared but was then recovered recently; The story behind the disappearance has never been told. Tomi Rae Hynie (Browns last partner and mother of his youngest) claims that Brown left her nothing in his will and she plans to bring forth a lawsuit.

All I have to say is "Please, Please, Please, Please" get it together people!

Boston Bombed

Yeah... Mr. Boston was sent home last night. I'm pissed at how Ny went out on a date with him, told him how much she was feeling him and then kicked him to the curb; such bullshit! I felt really bad for him last night.

Myself and the rest of the writers at The New Blogspot.com cover the show along with other things. Two out of the four of us predicted that Boston was going home. Unfortunately I predicted that Chance was getting the boot. (*Sigh*) Boston romances Ny and Chance blows up at her mother, tells her that he's leaving and gets to stay? I don't get it.

Anyway, all I know is my boy Tango ain't going nowhere!

Foxy "Jailbird" Brown

Yep, Foxy done got her dizzy ass locked up again. This time Foxy got locked up in Miami Florida for showing her ass in a beauty supply store. Word on the City Streetz is that when an employee informed her that it was closing time, Foxy began to curse, spit and throw hair products at the young man which made him call the police. Police arrived and asked Foxy to go back to the store to get things straight. Well of course she refused and the cops took her down to the ground.

Now call me silly but didnt Foxy just recover from hearing lost? Im guessin that after such a tramatic experience she would have a different outlook on life. I guess some people are just ignorant to god hits the light switch.

Milli Vanilli Is Back?

You guys remember Milli Vanilli dont you? We loved these guys untill we all found out they were lip-synching; then we had to get gutta with it. Manilli Vanilli consisted of Fab Morvan & Rob Pilatus (who died of a drug overdose 1998 on the left in the picture )

Well anyway, word on the City Streetz is that there are talks of a movie deal. I will hit yall with more information as it comes but if this is true, Id love to get the story behind Manilli Vanilli!

Lmao At The Haters!!

Ok guys... We all had some good laughs earlier when I posted the info on "Luke Skystalker" but I took it down. Reason being because I should have never lowered my standards to see eye to eye with him. I basically had to whip on his hind to make him understand that this isn't child's play, this is grown shit. He's a young kid thats still wet behind the ears and doesn't know any better. I have this code I live by though.. its called "End Shit Quick." Its kinda like the code Sapphire from Flavor Of Love goes by.. shes didn't care if it was flowers or a Q tip she went after that girl and banged her out. Is this always the best way to go about things? Well I say no, especially when you know the outcome will be you whipping that ass! I realized that there was no need for me to reply to the bullshit because his rants clearly showed that I had already cut him deep but I just couldn't resist watching him get all dramatic and shit.
Anyway, Ive made my point very clear to him; furthermore he is just old news and there is no sense in beating a dead horse.
Besides, Posh is respected by many who would just be disappointed at the fact that I'm playing these games with such a low-bred character. So in other words, I'm gonna continue to be the Queen that many respecognize, opposed to lowering my status to rumble with peasants!!!

Now I dont know how old some of you are but I'm a straight 90's head. "I Gotcha" has the 90's rap vibe to it. The Neptunes produced the track and I love me some Pharrell! The Neptunes are sick with it. The beat kinda reminds me of something A Tribe Called Quest would drop. The video even has a nice little 90's vibe to it.......and guess how I stumbled upon this video?; on a Tv screen at Footlocker.
